It all began with two trucks in August of 1959. Wilfred Giroux, Sr. left his job with another oil company to open his own. From day one, Giroux Oil Service Company has continued to deliver fuel and the best possible service to every customer.

Initially, the company was run from the Giroux family home on Walton Street in Portland, Maine. As the company grew, and the family grew up, Wilfred Sr.'s three sons joined the company. Eventually, the third generation came along and they, too, are part of the Giroux Oil team.

Today, our family continues to manage day-to-day operations. You can be sure there is always a member of the Giroux family on the premises to take your call and answer your questions.
